In its sovereign cloud report, Deloitte describes four control points for AI: access to compute, governance of training data, control over models and audit, and the infrastructure that runs inference.

Questions for a partner

  • Are the GPUs that process our data in India?
  • What data was the model trained on and who approved it?
  • Can we change model or provider if we need to, and how long would that take?

The report also advises a fallback plan for critical AI systems. Stronger controls can cost more, so match them to how sensitive each workload is.
