SAP's maintenance dates for ECC depend on the enhancement pack. A recent analysis says mainstream maintenance for EHP 0 to 5 ended on 31 December 2025, and for EHP 6, 7 and 8 it ends on 31 December 2027.
Customers on EHP 6 to 8 can elect extended maintenance from 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2030, at roughly two percentage points more on the maintenance fee. It must be chosen in advance. Without it, customer-specific maintenance gives no new security patches or regulatory updates.
